ABOUT

My name is G. H. Gillis.  I'm a war veteran (First Gulf War).  I have a BS in Math and Computer Science from Northern Michigan University and an MBA from Youngstown State University in Ohio after years of changing my major (Psychology, Art History, Philosophy, Mythology, Physics and Astronomy, and Geology).  I also have an Associates Degree in Avionics Sciences and an Associates Degree in Aircraft Armament System (so I am qualified to load luggage onto aircraft at the local airport).  After the war, I worked for Westinghouse PCD in Pittsburgh, and then EDS/Hewlett Packard Enterprise as an Enterprise/Information Systems Architect for almost 20 years.  I am retired but I have a small farm that I'm working on in Columbiana, Ohio, turning it  into a Learning Center with free classes for everyone.   I lost my wife to cancer and a hospital accident almost 4 years ago - so everything I do now is new and an adventure of sorts.  I've been writing music for a long time but cannot sing... (yeah, I don't want to be arrested for suspected torturing of cats) ... so, utilizing AI vocals I'm able to create the songs with the lyrics I write.    These songs are mine commercially  but I share them with you with one stipulation: they are shared freely.   If you wish to help me you can donate a small fee when suggested or buy me a cup of coffee.   Or a shot of single malt scotch.
